As you know by now there are MANY trail/security cameras available on Amazon and other locations. They all seem to be quite similar so why buy this one? I think if you do a price, quality comparison this one will come on top. Apeman H45 Trail Camera has a very reasonable price, it’s not too bulky, has improved water-resistant construction, and is very easy to operate.
Apeman H45 Trail Camera Review: Design
The camouflage design makes it almost invisible when it’s attached to a tree with the good heavy duty strap which is included. Be sure you have it aimed at the space you want covered.
The IP66 waterproof sturdy case of the trail camera protects your hunting camera from rain and dust damage. It can also work in tough environments like deserts or tropical rain forest
Design of the Apeman H45 Trail Camera:
We think our favorite part is that it comes with a strap to allow you to wrap it around a tree or pole. Having 2 different threaded camera mounts really makes it easy to mount and get the shot you need. You can also use standard action camera accessories and tripods that are compatible with standard screw mounts
H45 Trail Camera Setup:
Why else should you buy this H45 Apeman camera? Many buyers use this camera for security around their homes, business, and farms. It’s great to check around your yard to monitor the animals and people that are passing through.

Apeman H45 Trail Camera Review: Camera And Availability
The H45 Trail Camera comes in a 16MP and supports a full HD 1080p video. It also has an adjustable shutter speed with settings of 1/15,1/20,1/30. The field of view is 130 degrees. The lens angle of the camera is pretty wide, a bit wider than Toguard H40
Daytime sensitivity to movement is typically about 75 feet. The daytime color images are of good quality. The range of the camera seems to be a little farther at night. The Apeman H45 Trail Camera is equipped with night vision. 26PCS low glow infrared LEDs( which makes it a stealthy unit that does not intrude into the natural habitat), make up to 75ft/22M detection capturing range even at night.
The device comes with a built-in screen for not only the settings but also to playback the videos from the SD card. This is something that you wouldn’t get from Ring or any other outdoor camera devices. This is great if you want to skip the WiFi or Bluetooth setup process and simply want to collect some videos to watch late
For security, you can set a password on the camera so, if it gets stolen, it won’t be as useful to the thief. Keep in mind, it only records to the memory card so you won’t have photo evidence of the thief unless you manage to get the camera back.
Another option is the Toguard H20 Mini, which you can buy for $30 for up to 40% sale on amazon, and offers similar specs
Apeman H45 Trail Camera Review: Battery And SD Card
To get the Apeman H45 trail camera to work you are going to need to have an SD card and 8x AA batteries. Let us first say that if you want your camera to last do not rely on alkaline batteries. They will eventually leak and ruin your camera. Spend a little money on a 6v rechargeable setup if this is something you expect to use frequently or at least get some quality rechargeable AA batteries
Overall, if you expect this to match the performance of cameras costing 3-4x as much, then don’t bother because you will be unhappy. If you want a serviceable camera, that is easy to set up, and is good for the money, then this is for you.
